a quick visit to a chapel in long beach, a 5 minute ceremony with their friends and family watching via zoom, and a backyard reception to end the night—this was ashley & matt’s response to their big wedding plans being pushed to 2021.

i met ashley while photographing a wedding last year—she was the makeup artist (hire her, she’s talented as hell) and we instantly clicked. we’ve been instafriends since then, and when she asked me to be apart of this day, my heart was so happy.

they brought the fun & love & excitement to their parents’ backyard—complete with diy floral arrangements, spaghetti for dinner, and a fully-clothed pool dip. so thankful i was able to be there with them. love u nishes ✨
